Duration of Stay : 60 days from entry date<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visa fees : 5,500yen (cash only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose of stay<\/strong> : Tourism purpose only<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employment in Thailand is prohibited
\u25cf Applicant must enter Thailand on the date specified in the airline ticket or ticket reservation confirmation
\u25cf Upon arrival to Thailand, the period of stay is granted by an immigration officer in accordance with the type of visa; travelers who wish to stay longer than the granted period must file an application for permission of extension of stay at offices of the Immigration Bureau of Thailand; the extension of stay as well as the change of certain type of visa is solely at the discretion of the Immigration officer in Thailand
\u25cf In case that visa application is rejected, the visa fee will not be refunded and the submitted documents will not be returned to the applicant
\u25cf The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Fukuoka reserves the right to request additional documents as deemed necessary and reserves the right to reject an application without providing any reasons
\u25cf Fraud or misrepresentation can result in permanent visa ineligibility
\u25cf The following required documents are subject to change without prior notice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required Documents<\/strong> : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Valid Passport<\/strong> not less than 6 months and has at least TWO completely empty pages<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Visa Application Form and one colour photograph taken within 3 months (size 3.5\u00d74.5cm)
<\/strong>\u2022 Completely filled out and signed as the same as the applicant’s passport signature<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Personal history form<\/strong> completely filled in and signed by the applicant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. One original bank statement in English<\/strong> 
\u2022 The bank statement must contain the amount at least 20,000 Baht per person
\u2022 In case of applicant under the age of 20 years who do not have their own bank account is required to submit a bank statement of either father or mother with the amount at least 40,000 Baht per family, and one original family registration certificate in Japan (KOSEKITOHON) which is issued within 3 months
\u2022 Copy of bank book is not acceptable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. <\/strong>Evidence of accommodations for the entire duration of stay in Thailand<\/strong>, please provide one of following documents 
5.1 Hotel booking confirmation <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.2 Copy of applicant’s own evidence for condominium \/ apartment \/ house<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.3 In case of renting condominium \/ apartment \/ house : Copy of the lease agreement and landlord’s ID card is required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.4 In case of staying with friend or family, the following documents from A-D is required
       A. Invitation Letter from friend or family (including name of the writer, relationship with the applicant, address for staying, length of stay, contact, and signature of the writer)
       B. In case of owning or renting condominium \/ apartment \/ house, a copy of the applicant\u2019s own evidence or the lease agreement
       C. One copy of Identification Card (ID Card) of friend or family
            \u2022 In case of Thai national, must submit a copy of ID card and House Registration which include address and name
            \u2022 In case of foreigner, must submit a copy of passport (photo page and valid visa pages) and, in case of foreigner legally working in Thailand, must also submit a copy of valid work permit
       D. Official documents proving family relationship
            \u2022 For Japanese national, must submit one original family registration certificate of Japan (KOSEKITOHON) issued within 3 months
            \u2022 For foreigners, must submit one copy of Registration of Marriage with English translation or Birth Certificate with English translation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Occupation\u2019s documents <\/strong>
6.1 For company employee<\/strong>, one original certificate of employment, certificate of leave and one original copy of company\u2019s registration (TOKIBOTOHON) are required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.2 For self-employment<\/strong>, one original company\u2019s registration (TOKIBOTOHON) is required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.3 For student<\/strong>, one original certificate of enrollment issued by the academic institute in Japan is required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.4 For pensioner<\/strong>, one original certificate of pensioner\u2019s fund stating an amount of pension received is required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.5 For housewife \/ househusband
<\/strong>\u2022 Japanese applicant is required to submit one original family registration certificate of Japan (KOSEKITOHON) issued within 3 months and one copy of photo-page passport
\u2022 Non Japanese applicant with Japanese spouse is required to submit one original of the spouse\u2019s family registration certification of Japan (KOSEKITOHON) issued within 3 months and one copy of photo-page passport
\u2022 Non Japanese applicant with non Japanese spouse is required to submit one copy of registration of marriage with English translation or birth certificate with English translation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.6 For applicants under 20 years old<\/strong>, one original guarantee letter and a copy of guarantor’s passport or driving license duly signed by the guarantor are required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>   \u25cf A guarantor must be twenty (20) years of age or older, must be able to confirm the applicant’s personal attributes. A guarantor must be available to be contacted by the Consulate-General and must not be a person who will accompany the applicant to Thailand
   \u25cf A guarantor who are not Japanese national must provide a copy of passport and residence card (legally residing in Japan)
   \u25cf A guarantor must sign as the same as the guarantor’s identification document signature
   \u25cf Japanese guarantor who prefers to use driver license, please sign as the same as signature in the guarantor letter on the copy of driver license <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

6.7 For unemployment<\/strong>,
  1) One original certificate of personal income tax \/ original certificate of personal income tax exemption or similar document.
  2) One original guarantee letter must be presented together with a copy of guarantor’s passport or driving license duly signed by the guarantor. 
*A guarantor must be twenty (20) years of age or older and a permanent resident legally residing in Japan. A guarantor must not accompany the applicant to Thailand, while must be able to confirm applicant’s personal attributes and information such as name, age, occupation, address, physical information, etc. and available to be contacted by the Embassy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. English itinerary and purpose of visit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Airline ticket or flight booking confirmation
<\/strong>\u25cf Must be issued by airline or travel company and must contain the applicant’s name, flight number and date arrival<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uff1cAdditional Required Documents for Non Japanese Applicant\uff1e<\/strong> 9. One copy of residence card<\/strong> (Please present the original document of identification on application date)<\/strong>

\u25cf For those who are currently applying for renewal of residence card, please submit a copy of acceptance of renewal issued by the Immigration Bureau of Japan10.
