exemption scheme that allows ordinary passport holders of certain countries, including the UK, the UAE, the USA and more, to enter Thailand visa-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that Thailand also holds bilateral agreements on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official and ordinary passports for a visit of not exceeding<strong>&nbsp;90 days<\/strong>&nbsp;with Brazil, the Republic of Korea and Peru and for a visit of not exceeding<strong>&nbsp;30 days<\/strong>&nbsp;with Vietnam and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thailand visa-free countries 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following passport holders from specific categories are eligible for the Thailand visa waiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ordinary passport class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thailand visa waiver 2023 requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thaiembassy.com\/thailand-visa\/thai-visa-exemption-and-bilateral-agreement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Thai Embassy website<\/a>, the countries eligible for the Thailand visa-exemption scheme will be granted visa-free entry into Thailand, provided they meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the applicant must be from a country eligible for the Thailand Visa Exemption scheme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the applicant must hold a genuine passport with a validity of over six (6) months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the applicant must be able to provide a valid address in Thailand that can be verified on entry. This address can be a hotel or an apartment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the visit is strictly for tourism purposes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they must have a confirmed return ticket to show that they are flying out of Thailand within 30 days of entry, as appropriate.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>open tickets do not qualify.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>travelling overland out of Thailand by train, or bus, to Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia (including Singapore), and Myanmar may be accepted as proof of exiting Thailand.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>applicants may be asked to show their flight tickets upon entering Thailand.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>if they do not possess a flight ticket to show that they will be exiting Thailand within 30 days of entry, they will most likely be refused entry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>it is necessary to prove that the eligible single traveller has funds of at least 10,000 THB (USD 280), or 20,000 THB (USD 526.04) per family during their stay in Thailand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the Thailand visa waiver 2023?
