Club Electric Blue is among the many go-go bars in Pattaya, and while it’s not situated directly on Walking Street, it’s widely considered a “Walking Street Bar.” I wholeheartedly concur with that classification, given that it’s just a minute’s walk away. What truly matters is that it’s brimming with sexy dancers in G-strings, which is more than enough motivation for people to make the short journey.
Back in 2013, I reviewed Club Electric Blue in Bangkok, awarding it four and a half stars and mentioning the abundance of attractive women. Five years later, I reported on the bar’s closure, as it was being replaced by a steakhouse. Now, I’m finally able to review Pattaya’s Club Electric Blue, which is arguably a superior venue.
Club Electric Blue in Pattaya: Club Electric Blue can be found on Soi 15, just up from the previously reviewed and, in my opinion, overrated Sapphire. It boasts a conspicuous entrance and is usually flanked by ladies either out front or on Walking Street, helping patrons find their way to the bar.
Inside Club Electric Blue, you’ll find a relatively standard layout. Comfortable seating is arranged all around the bar, with a couple of raised stages offering excellent visibility from every seat. It’s not one of those bars where some seats are significantly better than others; it’s open all around.
The waitstaff is both friendly and attentive, swiftly taking orders and delivering them promptly. The atmosphere varies from relaxed to fun, with no sense of dreariness or depression. Regular patrons, like myself, frequent the bar, and the staff undoubtedly contributes to the pleasant ambiance.
There’s always an appropriate number of women working at Club Electric Blue, although it’s not overflowing with women like the previously reviewed Palace agogo. However, there are enough women to outnumber the customers, ensuring that the stages and the floor remain lively and busy. Most importantly, a significant portion of these ladies is exceptionally attractive.
Staff, service, and summary: Unlike some other Thai go-go bars, this establishment appears to have specific employment standards in place. This doesn’t mean there are no older or less attractive women present, but certain standards are evidently upheld. Moreover, there’s a cadre of incredibly fit and stunning women. Consequently, there’s genuinely something for everyone, and I can’t fathom any man not finding at least some of these bar girls alluring, unless they have an unusual preference.
On any given night, Club Electric Blue hosts some of the best-looking go-go dancers in Thailand. I’m referring to slim, tanned beauties in the nineteen to twenty-three age range, boasting all the right curves and very cute faces. It’s reminiscent of the old days when every woman working in a go-go bar had an exquisite physique, and it’s always a pleasure to see.
Club Electric Blue isn’t the most budget-friendly establishment in town. For instance, a draft beer costs 110 Baht, which is pricier than the old CEB in Bangkok. Nevertheless, times have changed, and so have the rates, which applies to nearly everything, including the barfine and tips expected from dancers who engage in more intimate encounters with patrons. These days, a woman might request an additional couple of thousand Baht on top of the thousand Baht a guy provides to the bar to conclude her work shift early. However, all of this is clearly communicated upfront, and there’s no bill padding or other deceptive practices here. Therefore, anyone who believes they’ve overspent would have only themselves to blame.
Pattaya boasts numerous go-go bars, and it’s what the city is most renowned for. In recent years, go-go bars have become more popular with tourists than expats and regulars, with a few exceptions like Windmill. It’s easy to understand why. However, Club Electric Blue upholds some of the old standards while continually seeking out the most attractive women to work the poles. This focus on quality is the essential ingredient in any agogo, and while there’s room for improvement in certain aspects, this establishment excels where it truly matters.
