Emporio is a great option to go out after you have been to a restaurant or a pub earlier in the evening and don’t want the evening to end. The club is open till 5am so you have all night to drink, dance and make conversation. This place is popular amongst a wide variety of people, so you’ll never be bored during a night out at Emporio. Just make sure you are equipped with cash or a debit card, because they don’t accept credit cards.
It’s inevitably warm inside with all the bodies, but you can drink on the sidewalk. If you order from the side bar, you get drinks in plastic cups and don’t get charged a service fee that you’d get if you order from a waitress. Beers start at R$5 apiece! Their bathroom was wrecked after a few hours and I could barely breathe in there. Lots of pretty girls, but only a handful of English speakers. Not really an expat bar, but we did make some friends. Also met some questionable girls as well!
